Amazon is tightening their affiliate policy for Kindle authors, offering affiliate links in their FR.EE books.  Their goal is to crack down on the newly formed websites that only have been set up to solely promote Free Kindle Books.  In light of this new development, we may see some of these sights being shut down.  This new ruling may also change the way self-publishers promote their FR.EE books via such sites.  There’s talk that charging $.99 may “become the new free.”
